Spitfire
Display
Supermarine Spitfire IX MH434 is widely considered the most famous Spitfire flying today due to its exceptional history. Built at Castle Bromwich in August 1943 and tested by renowned pilot Alex Henshaw, it quickly entered combat with 222 Squadron at RAF Hornchurch where South African pilot Flt Lt Henry Lardner-Burke scored 3½ victories with it. After the war, MH434 served operationally with both the Royal Netherlands Air Force in Java and later the Belgian Air Force before entering civilian life. The Spitfire gained cinematic fame appearing in "The Longest Day," "Operation Crossbow," and most notably the "Battle of Britain" film. Purchased by Sir Adrian Swire in 1969, it became renowned for displays by Neil Williams and especially Ray Hanna, whose 30-year relationship with the aircraft included the spectacular under-bridge flight for the "Piece of Cake" TV series. Today, MH434 continues flying in its original 222 Squadron markings, managed by Ray's daughter Sarah, and recently celebrated 40 years at Duxford - another milestone in this remarkably original Spitfire's storied existence.

SuffolkSchool of Samba
Established in Ipswich in 1994 by a handful of keen individuals with knowledge in abundance and drums from a drum kit, we are proud to call ourselves the
original Samba group of East Anglia. From our modest beginnings, the band has slowly gained momentum (as well as
members!), along the way, being joined by the dancers in 1998.
Our rhythms have been taught to hundreds of people, over the years, and we take great pride in being able to acknowledge performing to hundreds of
people at hundreds of events over the years.
We are NOT professionals. Our ritmistas (drummers) and our passistas (dancers) come from all across East Anglia, to meet every Thursday to rehearse
the very rhythms you hear us play at events!
We love to drum, and we love to dance and if you're interested, anybody can learn, just come along to a rehearsal, and we do the rest!
Like a lot of the schools in Brazil, a lot of our members are not professional performers, some having never drummed our danced before.
Our members just want to have a bit of fun and make some great friends whilst doing it.
Samba is for everybody, we enjoy having fun doing what we do, and love to make people smile!
We call ourselves a "Samba School" after the large Samba groups from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. These groups often have hundreds, if not thousands of
members, ranging from the Bateria (drums) to the passistas (dancers) and each School spends all year (from February to February) creating new rhythms,
theme song (known as the 'Samba de Enredo' in Brazil), costumes, floats and dances to perform at the "Carnaval" in the Sambadrome, where they compete
against other schools for the highest score from the judges.
SuffolkSwords
Watch these beautiful creatures trot around the grounds in all their glory. The Suffolk Punch is the oldest breed of working horse in the world and is unique in its chestnut colour. As we all know this year remembers the end of the Great War, therefore our Suffolk horses will be in agricultural vehicles/implements of that period. The Suffolk horse is the oldest of the heavy horses but unfortunately the most critically endangered.

We do a lot of work with groups such as Involve active, Nansa, and the Otium center to name a few. These groups are for young people and adults with learning disabilities which we and the animals love working with, we work with these groups on a voluntary basis as they too are struggling with funding. Our future aim is to be open as a wellbeing center for anyone that needs some extra help and animal therapy as animals are magic and help so many people without them even realising. We also love to visit local care homes and put smiles on the faces of the residents.
Due to the flooding last/this year and the cost of living our outgoings have risen massively and we need some help in order to continue doing what we do for our community.

Due to the flooding last/this year and the cost of living our outgoings have risen massively and we need some help in order to continue doing what we do for our community.
The amount we really need to keep us afloat for the upcoming winter months is £10,000 this would cover our feed bills, hay costs, straw and shavings for the animals bedding.
We are constantly fundraising and trying to bring money in but sadly everyone is in the same situation at the moment but give when they can and we had raised roughly £1000 towards winter but we have had to use that on recent vet bills.
